About Carlsbad
Carlsbad, California is a coastal community north of San Diego and south of Orange County. We have beautiful beaches, great weather and lots of fun activities for families. Carlsbad is also the home of LEGOLAND, California, SEA LIFE Aquarium and the new LEGOLAND Water Park, which opens for the 2011 season on March 12.

The Flower Fields
**Update! This year the season has been extended to May 15 and the flowers are beautiful!
Open every day from March 1st until Mother's Day (May 8). Be sure to check their website or call before visiting, the flowers seem to be a little slow this year. The ranunculus bloom (the main attraction) usually peaks around mid-April, but the rose garden is best towards the end of the season.
